New Words, Spring Break, and new Bouncer

Well Little Guy is fast approaching age two and has learned two new words that he is using fairly often.  He now says up and mo for more and pu for pull.  He had his speech eval redone and they placed him at an 18 month level for speech so he has improved quite a bit in the last few months.

Homeschooling with my elder two is still going well.  We will be starting Easter projects next week so pics will be coming of those.  Right now we are just coming out of a mini-spring break.  We took a few days off last week more out of necessity.  It was just a busy week really.  It has taken a little bit to get back into the swing of things.  It was a bit of a reminder of how kids with Autism thrive so much on structure.  They had a few days off and getting them back to their schoolwork resulted in some meltdowns.  I am planning on schooling through the summer at least three days a week to hopefully keep some of the structure going.  Last year we took summer off, but this year I don't think we will at least not completely.

The weather has been lovely for the past few weeks.  We have been spending a lot of time outside, and I am hoping that nice weather continues through Easter and Little Guy's B-day party which will be the week before easter.  We bought an inflatable bouncer at toys-r-us to use for all the kids' birthday parties this year and it would be so nice to be able to have the party outside.  We have room indoors to blow it up but it would really crowd out the adults.  We had to blow it up and let the kiddos try it out last week.  Good thing we did because we had to do some sensory problem solving.  Little Guy doesn't like walking in the grass in just his socks, so we had to put a blanket at the bottom of the slide.
